Germs
What I learned from the video below has been grossing me out all week. You might be surprised to find out where germs are lurking. There is a huge “ick” factor in the information.
I bought new toothbrushes and put them in drawers after seeing this video, and the toilet fact had me freaked out.
Worst places for your health
The Today Show had Courtney Smith, Executive Editor of Prevention Magazine, on for a segment about “The Worst Places for Your Health.” See the video here.
Warning: If you are germaphobic, you might not want to know.
What will you change after seeing this video?

Wow, that video was very interesting. I might have to go out and get new toothbrushes too!
Thanks for stopping by the Healthy Moms. Have a wonderful week!

Things I never thought about…and maybe didn’t want to know about.
Hmmm. I’m of the opinion that if these things haven’t killed me yet, then they most probably won’t in the future. And as I’m in my late fifties, I think I’ve done pretty well so far. However, it’s a good idea for our health professionals to stay healthy so that, should we fall ill, they are there to look after us. So here’s a question to ask your doctor:
“Doctor. How often do you clean the earpieces of your stethoscope?”

Intially i was disgusted then realized how thankful I was to see this. I am definately going out to get some new toothbrushes.
Val your comment aswell got me thinking how often do docters: wash their hands, instruments etc. I am forever hearing how instruments have been left behind in patients and the mysterious sicknesses or diseases people contract while in medical care.
