Getting an accountant might set us an additional expense. I would certainly do #2, then #1 and then #5. I will make a spreadsheets and then scan all the receipts I have then scan it regularly. Regular scanning is the main tip here for there might be some organized receipts that are misplaced.

Jordon is right, it is not possible to keep all the necessary documents in a computer. Paper documents are also very much important. If they are not arranged properly problems will come in every step.

After doing my Taxes last year, I realized that I have it all in only three places, my PayPal, Bank Account and receipts!

P.S. Paypal provide a great report that is very helpful for Taxes, they’ve started this since last year, it made my life easier!

Its rightly said, clean and tidy workspace is essential to focus on work properly. Arrangements of the files and documents must also be very well managed. A well managed files and documents will make your work fast. But in this busy schedule, its very difficult to give time to organize workspace properly. I am a huge fan of Google Reader but recently I have found a tool that I like even better. I have an iPad and there is an app available called Flipboard that takes all of your RSS feed items and turns them into something similar to a newspaper pulling in photos and information. This took makes it amazingly easy to scan a huge list of RSS feeds to understand the items you are truly interested in.

I like to use Siri on my iPhone 4S to build my to do list it is super easy. You can also easily set reminders for a future date and time which makes it much easier to remember those little tasks you often forget when you get busy.
